I found Jillian through The Knot and I’m so happy I did. From the start we clicked and found out were actually from the same area in NJ. She is quite possibly the sweetest person I’ve met and made me feel and look like a million bucks on my wedding day. From the trial to the wedding she was receptive to the small changes I wanted to make and even had the same thoughts I did when it came to switching some things up. It’s no easy feat having to do 12 ladies in a short amount of time but her and her assistant pulled it off and with time to spare! My bridesmaids could not stop talking about how accommodating the two were and even my mom said she felt incredible, and not overpowered because she rarely wears makeup. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Jill. Her professionalism, her enthusiasm and her talent are incredible! Let’s start from the beginning. I found Jill on one of the Facebook bridal groups. I was desperately searching for someone who would give me a natural look (me but enhanced) who would listen to what I wanted, and who made me feel comfortable. I also wanted to support independent women-owned businesses, which Jill is! When I reached out to Jill on Instagram, she got back to me in less than an hour, and was immediately so friendly, forthcoming the her prices and availability and easy to speak with. Once we signed our contract, we immediately set up a date for the trial. During the trial, which we did before my bridal shower, Jill spent as much time as I needed to figure out my “look”. We took things off I didn’t like and tried other colors, looks,etc until I was happy. Throughout the trial, Jill was so great to speak with and her knowledge of makeup is so evident. She even set up a trial with my mom before the wedding in order to make her comfortable! I went to my bridal shower feeling confident and beautiful. Between the shower and the wedding, Jill stayed in touch, checked in on me, and even sent me sweet wedding week texts. She truly got me so excited the week leading up to the wedding and even listened to what I was nervous about going into the week. We had to change up the schedule slightly the week of the wedding and she was so accommodating about that. Day of the wedding, Jill was on time arriving, and got started immediately. She did an incredible job with all of my bridesmaids and my mom, and finished all of their makeup in an efficient manner, while still making each of them feel special and beautiful. The moment I sat in Jill’s chair on my wedding day, I instantly felt calm and comfortable and knew I was in great hands. She made me feel confident and did my makeup exactly how I always envisioned. Ladies, if you have a wedding coming up, run don’t walk to Jill for makeup. From start to finish she was amazing. She spent so much time individualizing my makeup and making me feel special. She is talented, kind and the best makeup artist around. I will 100% hire her for any other event I will need my makeup done for. If I could give her 100 stars rather than just 5 I would! - Rachael

I first met Jill when she came to my home to do my daughters makeup for her prom. After seeing the results of this session, I knew I had to call Jill a few weeks later when it came time to prepare for my nephew's wedding. I wanted to find the right person not only for myself but also for my sister who was the mother-of-the groom. No doubt, Jill was the right person. Jill was more than accommodating when I called her for an appointment. She traveled to the hotel where my sister was staying. We had so much fun during our makeup session! Jill was great! She truly wanted us to be happy and feel beautiful. She took time to talk to us about the look we wanted and asked questions throughout the session to make sure the end result was exactly what we wished for. Jill is an amazing makeup artist. She had done my makeup for my bridal shower and I was so pleased with the results I had to book her to do my wedding makeup. Jill is very talented and knows what she is doing. I, on the other hand know very little about makeup. She was able to give me the look I was going for, and makeup stayed on all day and night! Jill was recommended to me by my best friend (also named Jill!). The first time she did makeup for me was a preview for my prom makeup. It was tough to find makeup at an affordable price. However, Jill’s services were affordable and she took the time to really nail the look I was going for. She made sure to ask me about every step of the process during the preview that way when the day of prom came, we’d be ready to glam up. Although her makeup was well on the professional level, it was the warm conversation and her desire to make her customers feel comfortable with her makeup that will make me a repeat customer in the future! It was so amazing to have Jill as part of my prom experience! She worked with me to get the exact look I wanted and was so accommodating to the busy schedule of prom day.
